A selection of projections created from hand drawn organic plant forms, using permanent marker on transparency paper, projected onto domestic scenes and photographed. The use projection enabled the different objects in the photographs to come together and play as a joined canvas.the photo's express a desire to be surrounded by nature and the presence of plants in our homes and everyday lives.

In creating these photographs I found it difficult to achieve exactly what I had in mind, as the drawings didn't fill the whole projected space. This was due to the light which was being reflected by the mirror covering a bigger surface area than the area provided by the fresnel lens. The mechanisms used to change the shape and size of the light projected on the old style overhead projector, where not as flexible as I had hoped and therefore it was difficult to do any form of projection mapping as accurate projection was hard. The different settings impacted the quality of the work, as some objects and surface areas worked better than others.  For example, the top of the table in the photo to the right did not project the plant pattern because of the angle of the projection.
