These ink drawings are inspired by the imaginary and bizzar world and objects created within surrealism, emphasising the value of plants through the time given to the work, quality of the paper and the detail of the drawings. As well as composing the drawings in a way which makes plants the focus and references botanical illustration presentation methods. The work explores the relationship between nature and the manmade, plants vs technology and plant evolution, communication and seed dispersal.
