Tree Prints

This body of work explores the similarities between the finger print and rings of a tree, as a metaphor for human dependancy on plants and the inseparable presence of plants in human history, culture and identity. This work is inspired by Giuseppe Penone work at the exhibition Among the Tress at the Hayward Gallery.
